The Problem of Social Media

The Problem of Social Media These last few days I have been thinking about this a lot. How you can get easily lost on social media and then not feeling your best self. If this has happened to you, let me assure you, you’re not alone. It all started when I watched a couple of videos in a subject I was researching because I thought “Oh, what a fun video”. This social media network which shall not be named, flooded my content with an enormous amount of videos after videos that it was ridiculous. Very soon after that I started feeling more and more like a failure like I have nothing new to bring to the game so what’s the point of even trying? Started to question my own hobbies and how quickly after I forgot about some of them etc so maybe I am a failure after all? How do people stay focused nowadays and pursue their objective and only that and not the million ideas that go through their minds? Or is it just me? My husband is the same so maybe, not just us? This is where I think social media fails, it’s nice to share information, to share accomplishments but until what point should we do this. I very much enjoy videos where people try to bring social media back to reality and show failure as well. Failure is always around the corner, we’re humans and we’re bound to make mistakes. Some mistakes are exactly what takes us to greatness so why not fail more and more often? Do I feel like a failure today? Yes. Is it the worst thing ever? Maybe not?   Ana Ana Neto November 25, 2024 blog post, coffee, design, designer, graphic designer, harrogate, hot chocolate, thirsk, web design, wisebox studio Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Share on Twitter "X" Send by Email Follow us Keep up to date with our news Follow us on social media Instagram Facebook Linkedin Twitter Pinterest
